Robert Betts Announced CEO of BLOCNETS

Betts brings more than two decades of expertise implementing and

As CEO, Betts will lead a team of developers and engineers utilizing
blockchain technologies to bring greater transparency, security, and
accountability to today’s complex, extended supply chains. He is
responsible for leading the company’s overall operations with direct
oversight over corporate strategy, research and development, and sales
and marketing.

Betts has been with BLOCNETS since the beginning, helping to build the
software company and its products since the company’s official formation
in March 2018. Before joining BLOCNETS, Betts was co-founder and CEO of
MainStreet Applications, a business consultancy that uses data analytics
and supply chain processes to re-engineer companies. Clients included
WhiteWave Foods, Frito-Lay, Raytheon, and Proctor & Gamble.

Betts has served as senior vice president of global supply chain for
SAP, where he took the SAP products he helped define to help SAP achieve
multi-year, marketplace dominance. In this role, he led SAP’s
transformation into value-based selling and solution delivery.

Other roles Betts has filled over the course of his career include head
of IT at Riverwood International (now Graphics International) and
various management and technical roles at IBM, where he started as an
associate engineer and scientist. Betts is a founding member of the MIT
Supply Chain Forum, and is named on 64 global patents.
